My suggestion to you is to load 7/8 oz loadings with velocity around 1250. This has been perfectly capable of cycling every 390/391 that I ever tried them in. 3/4 oz loadings at that speed can be very iffy on cycling. If you want to drop down to 7/8 oz then Red Dot is the only one. Claybuster makes a 3/4 oz. wad in 12 gauge and I have shot a few hundred of them and can say they are awesome. I am getting great breaks at 16 yd. trap and on the skeet field even better. I am not a good trap shooter so seeing good breaks when I actually hit them is always a plus.
