We have had numerous inake heater relays fail on 3116/3126 engines. The C7 engines use a heavier relay. The earlier relays are to small to carry the 90+ amp load. On the 3116/3126 engines we have been using the Blue Bird relay that is used for the body heater/light functions. When driving the unit I could hear the relay activate and the Dash voltmeter would drop as expected.My grid heater is not firing up on my 6.7. It is in the single digits at night and no where near the 55 or 60 F function point. I checked the power to the main solonoid that controls power to the grid and I also manually fired the solonoid and varified that it is working.
