We have 12 to 20 inches of snow on the lake. Most spots have 6 to 10 inches of slush under the snow. Travel is best with snow machines. Atv and Utvs that are tracked up. On Lake of the Woods, there were still folks ice fishing just last week. On Rainy Lake, Voyageurs National Park officials announced ice-out at the Wooden Frog Campground just yesterday.
