The advantage to using vivariums is that its more space efficient and you don't actually have to feed them or set up transfer control units to deal with all the crystals and loot. TLDR if you only have a few gacha then gavagers are a better return but if you want to go completely overboard and tame 500 gacha then you should use vivariums.
