Myasthenia gravis (MG) is the most common disorder of neuromuscular transmission and is a prototypical autoimmune disorder. Most patients with MG are successfully treated with acetylcholinesterase inhibitors, corticosteroids, and/or steroid sparing agents such as azathioprine and mycophenolate mofetil.Summary.
