Found that the gray wire on the ignition switch only had 1 volt on it. Mar 14, 2021 · Bump start downhill in gear, nothing. The guy who serviced it recommended turning the throttle twice to activate the pumper jet. Then press start and twist the throttle. The bike will ignite, and it's really loud, but it dies after a few seconds. I have tried pulling the clutch in, and pulling the choke out. Pull the cold start knob out, and twist it to hold it in position. Give a very small amount of throttle, but dont twist back and fore when trying to start. Once started, leave the "choke" out for a couple minutes. I had this every winter for many years on my y2k 1500 nomad with hypercharger. Sunny Bob.
