Mentoring program for young adults
Mentors. Offer one-to-one support to young people and their families, to improve their lives. Meet regularly with their young person at school or at one of our hubs, typically over a 6 month period. Offer motivation, guidance and encouragement to reach an agreed set of goals such as improving school attendance or improving relationships at home.Get involved by filling out the Mentoring Application or call us at 1-518-473-3652. After your application is received, an appointment will be made for you to interview with a mentoring program staff person. Once you are a trained Mentor, you will be matched with a Mentee at a nearby school or community site and contacted about a start date.
