Departmental Honors. Senior requirements (a portfolio and research paper from a previous architecture course) are used to award departmental honors. Students must have a grade point average of at least 3.6 in classes for the major. Normally no more than 10% of the graduating majors in the department each year receive departmental honors.The minimal requirements for receiving departmental honors are that the student: Satisfactorily completes course work for an honors project, and; Achieves no less than a 3.5 GPA (A = 4.0) in the major at the time of graduation; Each program, department, or school will designate what it considers the appropriate coursework and honors project.February 2024.
