Needs an independent valet familiar to solve its action economy problems, but should work decently enough. The alchemist, on the other hand, will deal 3d8+10 (3 Splash+5 Expanded Splash+2 weapon specialization) plus 3 persistent, with an attack roll of +24 (13 Level+4 DEX+3 Item+4 Expert). So the alchemist will deal 23.5 damage per hit, while the fighter deals 17 damage per hit. While the fighter is more accurate, the alchemist deals more damage. Fumbus, the 2E Iconic Alchemist. Inspired by the goblins in the Magic: the Gathering universe, I really wanted to tap into the inner workings of a chemist who reveled in making things go BOOM. Possible ways to flavour would be a direct hit in a vital area or the vial being more potent than usual. Its alchemy after all, it's not really an exact science. Splash damaged isn't doubled as per the rules of the splash trait (CRB p. 544). Remeber that persistent damage doubles.Apr 24, 2024 · The fire bomber is an archetype of the alchemist class, available to goblin alchemists. In the 15 min ute adventuring day, this isn't that awful. The Alchemist's role in 2e - it doesn't seem to have one in combat. Combat was never the alchemist's strong suit in the playtest, but the class just seems *excessively* weak in the final version of 2e. It's the only class that's neither a caster nor a martial and I feel that this leaves it without any real strengths.Fumbus, the 2E Iconic Alchemist.
