Update 2: after being in the shop for 4 day they can't figure out the backup sensor issue. They tried putting them in the right place but it still showed up wrong in the display. They ordered new sensors but again not working correctly. You have to remove the wiper arms and then remove the black plastic cowl panel. Nov 25, 2015 · The display finally went completely blank and nothing showed up and the controls did not work. I initially did just a battery 12VDC Cable disconnect and it did NOT fix the problem. Disconnecting BOTH the Ground and 12VDC cables and jumpering them for 30+ seconds caused a system reset. The LED indicator light (on the outline of the home) never lights up. I'm having an issue (see photo) where the odometer/trip/fuel display is dark when I start the car and then it will flicker on and off with gibberish. Eventually it will display accurately.
