The object of Tripoley is to score the most points by winning tricks, collecting chips, and forming poker hands. The game is played over three rounds, with each round consisting of a different type of gameplay. The player with the most points at the end of the third round is the winner.Tripoli is best for 4 to 7 players (and is possible for 2 to 9). It requires a standard deck of 52 cards, the cards ranking in each suit, from low to high: 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-J-Q-K-A.
