Don't make it so fucking common. 0.71% purple drop chance from a lvl 50 raid + 30-40% chance it's a fang, 2% purple drop chance at lvl 150, 30-40% chance that it's a fang is way too common. Lock it behind the 150 and make it less common than ward.The great thing about a rapier though is that it's a liquid item. Once you are done grinding Slayer, you can sell it back and recoup your money +- small fluctuations in price. As a result , if you can afford it and you already have max melee (minus avernic), it's worth it if Slayer is your goal. 65m item vs 1b item.
