If you have 2 compatible weapons and 1.5 times their STR and DEX requirements (rounded down) then trying to two-hand your left hand weapon causes you to enter powerstance instead. I made a Powerstance Smelter Sword build at around SL 160. I only had 60% Roll which was shitty, and relatively low survivability. However I had decently High Poise, which I found more important for this build. Don't bother with scaling.
