rk_diver. Out scanning Monona for a while this morning (on the calmer side of the lake!) Few guys out fishing, and the barge was running around pulling piers out. Water temp was 62.9°F. Nothing exciting to report, only found the usual logs and a few things to look closer at with the camera when the water clears up.Lake-Link: Wisconsin. We worked the break/drop off along several stretches using lipless cranks and deep diving cranks & bobbers w/ nighties & fatheads. Ended up with several white bass, a few nice bluegills, 3 legal LM & 2 ...Launched on the west side by black wolf and hit a couple reefs. Fished 9’ to 15’ depths. Dead stick, drop shot and slip bobbers. Crawlers, red worms and minnows. 6 perch (best was 12.75”) crappie and of course some freshwater drum. Drop shot with red worms produced a bit better than the rest I think.Best fishing was straight out from Log Cabin where the milfoil mat had settled to the bottom. We got 2 Walleyes one 17", tons of fat large Northers from 25-30 inches, Large mouths, small mouths and a striper. Everything seemed to work well but lindy's and swim baits worked for the Walleyes. Went 3-6 last night just north of town. Started in 165 FOW and trolled out to 225 before heading back west. Picked up a laker on a wire diver in 133 FOW. Got a small king on a downrigger 65 feet down in 89 FOW and picked up a solid rainbow on the wire diver in 98 FOW or so.
