Very Sad to see Save A Lot go. There Meat Dept. was very good. If you needed something cut , there was a meat cutter there for you. (Walmart & Aldi's don't have one.) It was just a great store. Haha! I'll probably eat my words when I go there without my reusable bags and a ton of items. Whether it's fueled by profit or environmentalism, I am glad that I don't leave Save-A-Lot with 15 items in 14 plastic bags, which most major grocery stores love to do. Their produce is reliably good quality. Lemons, limes, tomato, romaine, pineapples etc are always up to 50% (sometimes even more) off other grocery stores.
