The mission of Cedar Rapids Animal Care & Control is to serve and protect with compassion, the animals and citizens of our community through education and enforcement, and to facilitate successful pet adoptions while respecting and striving to improve the quality of life for both pets and people.We employ two full-time cruelty investigators to enforce animal cruelty laws in Lucas County. We investigate almost 2,000 complaints a year.
